This image I have named ‘Memories’.
Neil was giving me a lesson in the coxswain’s skills.

We have now uploaded videos filmed during the last trip of the Marian prior to being transported (by road) to Goodwick.
The videos are available on our YouTube channel and are also embedded here.

Two members of the Charterhouse Returns committee travelled to Porth Penrhyn for the occasion. Mike Iles and Bob Wheatley with their wives.

At 10am precicely Paul Morgan with his family and staff arrived with the Charterhouse.
A party of local councillors, including the Mayor and Deputy Mayor, Charterhouse Returns committee members, Lifeboat Crew, Local Sponsors, local interested parties and the Press were present.

Guest of Honour
The ‘guest of honour’ was the grand-daughter of Tom Perkins [Bronze Medal for the Hermina rescue] who brought her family’s treasured medal and certificates.
Rhian Peters [nee Perkins] originally from High Street, Fishguard brought the most interesting photographs, certificates and the Bronze Medal from the Hermina rescue of 1920.
Thank you Rhian for attending and for the donation to the Charterhouse Returns Restoration Fund.
