The ‘guest of honour’ was the granddaughter of Tom Perkins [Bronze Medal for the Hermina rescue] who brought her family’s treasured medal and certificates.

Rhian Peters [nee Perkins] originally from High Street, Fishguard brought the most interesting photographs, certificates and the Bronze Medal from the Hermina rescue of 1920.

Thank you Rhian for attending and for the donation to the Charterhouse Returns  Restoration Fund.
